TIGER CAT
{2009}
I had this dress which I couldn’t imagine wearing
anywhere. So I looked at it and said, I’ll be a cat. I bought ears and a boa to
make my fury wrist and tail. My collar was a necklace I already had which I put
on like a chocker so it can look like a collar. Gold bra was just fro a bit of
an effect.
GREEK GODDESS
{2010}
This story is funny. I was invited to a Halloween
party last minute. {I had 30 minutes to get ready} I had a gold bathing suite
bottom, and a gold sparkly bra on deck. Note: same gold bra as the year before. I throw that on and grabbed the sheer
curtain off of my curtain rods in my living room. Wrapped that around me and
threw on a gold belt I had. There ya go.
Done & done! Greek Goddess was on
her way!
FLAPPER
{2012}
I love the 20’s. I wanted to be a flapper for so
long, but it wasn’t till this year I was able to finally do it. I had this gold
dress, which again I couldn’t imagine wearing anywhere in public as a regular
dress. So I put a twist on the flapper look. Traditionally flappers wore long loose
fitting dresses to protest against showing their curves, they also had short
hair to give more of a boyish look. {It was their way of rebelling against the traditional feminine look of long hair and showing their curves.} Back to the costume, I
I had the pearls thigh-highs and garter belt. That is not the traditional flapper
look, but I mixed it up a bit to say the least. I bought gloves and a boa.
I had the gold sequence headband already so I was flapping on my way to the Halloween
party!
PIN-UP GIRL
{2014}
Last year I was a Pin-Up girl, not many people
actually knew what I was though. Which was pretty disappointing, but anyhow.
This was VERY last minute as well. I grabbed some shirts and a bathing suite
top. I TRIED to do my hair in the pin-up girl style and had a make-up artist do
my make-up. I still had fun that night
although no one could figure out what I was.
I am totally digging that Ursula costume. I love all of them. Pretty cool
