How can you use your fireplace in the summer?
Well, I’m here to tell you how. Now remember the fireplace has two main
purposes, to keep us warm on cold nights and to also give us a great relaxing
and romantic ambiance. As we know you are not in need of heat this summer, but
ambiance is needed all year round. I’m going to share how can you can get the
ambiance without the heat and I’m going to show you 6 variations of Summer
Fireplace Ambiance.
Candles in the fireplace folks, CANDLES!
Seems genius right? Seems obvious? Well it’s not for many. We are so programmed
to forget the fireplace even exists during the summer we don’t even think about
the alternate ways we can use it. Candles in the fireplace give you ambiance
for romance on a rainy day, ambiance during summer entertaining, or a great
setting for indoor yoga or meditation.
1. PILLAR CANDLES
Tall white pillar candles give are sleek and minimalist look.
2. THE LANTERN
Put some pillar candles in a lantern then throw them in the fireplace for a romantic setting.
3. FLOATING CANDLES
Who would have thought of putting in the fireplace? This girl right here! Grab some tall votives fill them with water and add floating candles in them. The light bouncing off of the glass and water creates a crystalized, shiny & illuminate atmosphere in your fireplace.
4. CANDLES IN A BOTTLE
Candles in a bottle allows you to play around with different heights and grant you the opportunity to create a cool candle light vignette in the fireplace.
5. CANDLE LOGS
Candle holder logs will assist in giving the traditional fireplace impression minus the heat and clean up.
6. WOODEN PILLARS
Think of Wooden Pillars as a consolidation of both the candle in a bottle and candle logs dynamic. Combining the characteristics of the rustic element of the candle logs and the linear dynamic of candles in a bottle creates a vertical natural component to the fireplace.
